Science Overview

 Our programme of study in Science aims to develop enquiring minds and to gain knowledge and understanding of scientific ideas, processes and skills and relate these to everyday experiences.

Children are encouraged, through a variety of situations, to develop the practical skills needed to ask and investigate questions safely, think creatively about science and enjoy trying to make sense of phenomena.

The children’s learning is further enhanced and enriched using the expertise and opportunities that are available in the local community.
